Bar Lou Lou is a warm wine bar and kitchen at 122 Barry Parade, on the edge of Fortitude Valley. The old timber bar, terrazzo floor and orb pendant lights now sit in a room washed in burgundy, full of cushions, cosy nooks and secondhand finds.

Bar Lou Lou is Louise Marks's dream wine bar. She left a career in media, learned the ropes at Zero Fox in Teneriffe, earned a WSET wine qualification and opened in the former Barry Parade Public House in August 2026. The wine list leans towards approachable small-batch and natural drops, and the idea of giving things a second life runs through the whole space, right down to the little op shop out the back.

Open Wednesday to Saturday from 12pm to 10pm and Sunday from 12pm to 8pm; closed Monday and Tuesday. No booking required: take a seat and order at the bar. A 10% surcharge applies on Sundays.
