Pitching

What makes a useful pitch.

We read every pitch. We reply when a story fits, and we are happy to attend under media accreditation and arrange interviews in advance or on the day.

  1. 01Lead with the Brisbane angle. A local venue, chef, producer or precinct beats a national release.
  2. 02Say who is available to interview, and whether that is in advance or on the day.
  3. 03Include dates, location, access and any media accreditation on offer.
  4. 04Link to a media release or fact sheet rather than pasting a long email.
  5. 05Real photographs with rights and credit help. Generic stock images do not.
